The Berry Thieves Terracotta Flower Pot

£245.00

I have up-cycled an old terracotta flower pot and created quirky Blackbirds on the surface, using a variety of mosaic pieces. The patterns on the china and ceramic pieces create the individuality of each Blackbird. I have left parts of the pot exposed in order to include the interesting patina which develops as a pot ages.

This piece was inspired by the Blackbirds in my garden and their enjoyment of the blackberries in the autumn.

It is suitable for indoor or outdoor use and has been sealed with a specialist mosaic sealant which protects the mosaic from the weather and prevents mould. If you’d like to know more about how I create a mosaic including how secure the mosaic pieces are including garden pieces, please read my Studio Journal: A journey from chipped china to a final mosaic artwork.

Size: 9.25” high/9” diameter at the opening.

Currently being exhibited at the Mid Wales Arts Centre if you would like to see it in person.

Alternatively, I can arrange to have it delivered directly to you. Click here to go to Shipping & Delivery information.
