This was inspired by an early spring walk in West Oxfordshire, walking along the lanes on a Sunday morning in East Leach. The gentle beauty of the apple blossom against the pale blue spring sky with the hens peacefully pecking for food in the grass below caught my eye. Such an iconic image for the peace of the British countryside.
