This was inspired by my first view of a hare when I moved from London to West Oxfordshire. As I drove around the quiet single track roads exploring the countryside, a hare stopped in the middle of the road simply watching me and I was, with delight, watching back. It felt like forever but was probably only a matter of seconds. Such a magical moment which has stayed with me all these years later.
