NEST EGGS BOWL

£225.00

This piece was inspired by the Plight of the Curlew Exhibition at Mid Wales Arts Centre in the Spring 2025.  The Arts Centre is working along side the charity dedicated to raising awareness of the threat to the numbers of Curlews in Mid Wales, Curlew Connections, part of GWCT CymruI. I wanted to work with the image of a female Curlew on it’s nest of eggs. Curlew eggs are speckled and come in wonderful greens.

This 3D mosaic is created within a china platter acquired from a charity shop.  The pieces are cemented onto the platter to ensure a permanent fix. It is created using mosaic tiles, ceramic and china pottery, glass and glass beads.

Ideal as a garden decoration within a border collecting rain water or as a centre piece on a garden table. Alternatively, it may be used as an interior decoration or it can be put to use as a fruit or vegetable bowl. It is suitable for outdoors, although I would recommend bringing it inside during the winter months.

Size: 36cm diameter

Currently being exhibited at the Mid Wales Arts Centre if you would like to see it in person. The MWAC is in Caersws, near Newtown, Mid Wales, Powys, SY17 5SB. www.midwalesarts.org

Alternatively, I can arrange to have it delivered to you. See below under Postage and packing.

Postage and packing:
