Moroccan Sunburst

I made this piece one particularly hot summer and was inspired to work with various shades of gold and bronze to create the sense of the heat of the sun.

It is made of coloured glass, ceramic, china and beads cemented onto thick marine ply to ensure it’s waterproof so it can be mounted on a wall outside or inside. It also has a border of mosaic tiles, in order to create a frame for the image, and the back is painted matt with a harmonizing colour.  It is also fitted with D-rings and wire should you wish to hang it inside or outdoors.  

I recommend that any of my mosaics that are made for outdoor use, are brought inside for protection from frost and heavy rain during the winter months.

Postage and packing: 

Mosaics are carefully packaged in bubble wrap and either a padded envelope or a cardboard box. All orders include tracking and may be shipped from outside the UK. Estimated delivery time is 7-15 days, depending on location.
