This is a view of the mountains near Lake Besselthwaite in the Lake District.  I was attracted by the three mountains in descending order and the amazing colours, as the autumn approaches.  It was an early morning walk so the clouds and mist were just covering the top of the hills.

Mixed media acrylic with oil pastels painted on thick textured watercolour paper.
