This beautiful, bold poppy image has been mosaiced onto an old up-cycled acqua green resin vase using glass, mosaic tiles and pieces gathered from charity shops including china, ceramics and beads.
Some of the pot is left un-mosaiced in order to incorporate into the design the aqua green which particularly drew my attention in the charity shop. This piece is inspired by the poppies in my garden.
