£245.00

I have up-cycled an old terracotta flower pot and created beautiful large daffodil and iris motifs on the surface, using a variety of mosaic pieces. I have left parts of the pot exposed in order to include the interesting patina which develops as a pot ages. This piece was inspired by the flowers in my own garden pots this spring which suddenly produced a very welcome warm and sunny period after a prolonged wet and cold winter giving us a late spring this year.

It is suitable for indoor or outdoor use and has been sealed with a specialist mosaic sealant which protects the mosaic from the weather and prevents mould. If you’d like to know more about how I create a mosaic including how secure the mosaic pieces are including garden pieces, please read my Studio Journal: A journey from chipped china to a final mosaic artwork.

Size: 10” high/9” diameter at the opening.

Currently being exhibited at the Mid Wales Arts Centre if you would like to see it in person.

Alternatively, I can arrange to have it delivered directly to you. Click here to go to Shipping & Delivery information.
