This was inspired by the crows that swoop down and visit my garden for food. Most people don’t like them - perhaps because they’re noisy - but I like their chatter and lively community. They really should be called a Community of Crows instead of a Murder!
I was inspired to paint them with some new watercolour paints that a friend had given to me as a gift. Horadam watercolours by Schmincke are marvellous as the pigment breaks into different colours when you apply it. Adds a touch of the unknown to the result which is exciting!
Size: 11.5” x 8.5”
