This was inspired by an exhibition theme of Blue at West Ox Arts in Bampton, West Oxfordshire. I didn’t want to go with my first idea of a seascape but I have included a glimpse of the sea through the open window in this painting. The blue theme is reflected in the blackbirds’ interest in the blueberries.
