Colourful Florals Art Card Set
My heart lifts when I see a beautiful arrangement of flowers, whether they’re cut flowers or wildflowers grown in my garden. I love the shapes and intensity of the colours. It’s as if they each have their own character.

Purple Poppies: This card captures the lively spirit of poppies in lush purple, a reflection of nature's vibrancy. I tend to like flowers that are free and that have flower heads that open out wide and are unruly. The gardens that I have grown are definitely not full of order! These more unusual purple poppies were a delight to paint.
Yellow and Blue Abstract Floral: Here, I've played with colours and forms to bring an abstract floral vision to life. Yellow and blue are a favourite combination of mine. The sunflowers for this piece bring such life and energy to the image.
Still Life with Cornflowers: I wanted to share the simple elegance of cornflowers through a classic still life. The shapes and colours of the jug and bowl were a perfect complement for the amazing cornflower blue of the flowers. I enjoyed the looseness and flow of the watercolours painted wet in wet.
Magnolia Blossom: There is a very old and beautiful magnolia tree in the garden of my old West Oxfordshire home and I really enjoyed the anticipation of its flowering each spring. The original acrylic of this painting has sold so the link here will take you to Magnolia Blossom I, a watercolour of the same tree in flower.
