Relocation

It is a joy to be able to announce that I have recently relocated from West Oxfordshire to Mid-Wales, near Builth Wells and Llandrindod Wells.

I have been visiting Mid-Wales several times a year for about 20 years, enjoying the beauty of the hills and the peace and slower pace of a rural setting. Many of my walks have been in the Elan Valley, near Rhayader, and the hills near Brecon, Builth Wells and the Black Mountains. My seascapes reflect my experiences of the West Coast of Wales – Pembrokeshire and Ceredigion/Cardinganshire.

Finally, I succumbed to my love of this ancient and beautiful landscape and upped sticks and moved here! It is a delight to awaken to the majesty of the landscape each morning and to be immersed in the patterns of the fields, hills and hedgerows.

And it is fantastic to now have my own dedicated art studio in which I paint and create my mixed-media mosaics. It has wonderful light and views of the surrounding Mynydd Epynt hills.

I am looking forward to getting out into nature and working on a series of Mid-Wales landscapes for the website. Watch this space!
